Head down to the Shanghai Qianshuiwan Culture Art Centre where Periphery, the Washington D.C.-based progressive metal band is performing. Known for their heavy, progressive sound, they are considered a pioneer of the DJ movement within progressive metal. Tickets are from ¥220 and the show starts at 8.30pm.

Catch the first day of the Quotidian art exhibit – a group exhibit that strives to transcend the quotidian, or the ordinary, by questioning existing norms through continual artistic explorations. This exhibition aims to provoke audiences to re-experience seemingly familiar visuals in a different way. Featuring works by 12 contemporary artists, ongoing until mid-March.
