Earlier this week, Beijing issued yet another yellow alert for heavy air pollution, telling seniors and kids to stay indoors.
They probably could have added tourists to that list. A few pictures have been posted online showing what some of Beijing’s most famous tourist spots looked like before and after the PM2.5 rolled in on Wednesday and Thursday.
In the past, Chinese netizens have attempted to help out tourists unfortunate enough to visit China’s capital during an airpocalypse. Either by providing some handy-dandy illustrations.
Or just by presenting them with pictures of how the landmarks would look, if not for all the crap in the air.
