有 (yǒu) means ‘to have’, and 意思 (yìsi) means ‘meaning’. Together 有意思 (yǒuyìsi) literally means ‘to have meaning’.
This Chinese expression is generally used to refer to things that are interesting, fun, and enjoyable.
But when Person A finds Person B yǒuyìsi, it means that A has taken a liking to, or has developed a crush to B. Use with care!
