Beijing welcomed its first snow of the year on Tuesday, turning China’s capital city into a winter wonderland.
A cold front is currently covering much of northern China, causing heavy snow to fall in Shandong, Hebei and Henan provinces, not to mention serious snow storms in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.
But in Beijing it was nothing more than a light dusting, turning the red to white:
While pretty, we would caution against playing in it.
