Not only is a glass of Coconut Palm (椰树) delicious and refreshing, but, if you are a woman, it will also whiten your skin and give you bigger breasts.
That’s according to the latest advertisement from the ubiquitous Chinese coconut juice brand which is currently causing waves online for being even more shameless than usual.
The ad stars a bevy of beautiful ladies wearing low-cut tops on the beach who speak about the various “health benefits” that China’s favorite brand of coconut juice brings. “A can a day and you’ll be white, tender and busty,” the ad promises.
But it turns out these claims may be just a little dubious in that there is no scientific basis to them whatsoever. The Beijing News interviewed nutritionists who simply balked at the company’s claims.
In response, a Coconut Palm employee told the newspaper that they were basing their breast-enhancing claims on a 1997 report in Hong Kong newspaper they had read which said that drinking coconut milk could help to enlarge a woman’s breasts.
In the two decades since then, the company has yet to undertake any tests to actually confirm this report; however, this has not stopped them building an advertising campaign around it.
Sorry, ladies. If you want bigger breasts, looks like you’ll have to rely on the trusty, old jiggler. Meanwhile, if you’re looking for whiter skin, pick up some Qiaobi-brand laundry detergent and hop in your washing machine.
