Back in the old days, getting rubbish off power lines used to be a real drag. The power company would have to send workers and a cherry picker to the site, and the workers would have to laboriously remove the stuff by hand. The whole process could take three to five hours, and could even be dangerous for the workers.
But luckily we now live in the future, and fire-breathing drones can take care of the problem in mere moments.
A video has gone viral on the Chinese internet showing utility workers in Xiangyang, Hubei province playing with their new toy: a drone that spews fire. In the video, the workers maneuver the drone upwards and then take out the trash with a spectacular burst of flames.
