Another tragedy has occurred at a Chinese mall, this time in Tianjin.
At around 9 p.m. last night, a parent was holding two children near to a glass barrier at the side of a local shopping mall’s 4th floor courtyard. Unfortunately, the parent did not have a good enough grip on the two kids, accidentally dropping them off the side. The two children — aged between 2-3 years old — fell all the way to the 1st floor and were killed instantly.
Other information about the tragic accident is not currently available. One Weibo user reminded fellow netizens that no matter what they should not criticize the parent because no one could possibly be more heartbroken by the incident than him/her.
A similar incident occured last November at a Shanghai mall when a grandmother lost her balance while getting onto a 3rd floor escalator, accidentally dropping the baby she was holding off the side. The toddler, who was just four months old, suffered fatal head injuries from the fall.
