Rage of the Machine @ Harley’s Underground
Head to the “Rage of the Machine” night, where eetro-futuristic electronic music band Wasabi Bytes from Thailand is headlining, presenting their dystopian visions and new wave synths. To complement the band’s mix of electronic music with rock influences, they’re getting local support from Round Eye, Skinny Brown, Sesa Wu and DJ B.O, 10pm at Harley’s Underground and entrance is ¥60. Bettina Rheims and Serge Bramly @ Shanghai Gallery of Art
French photographers Bettina Rheims and Serge Bramly revisit a series of images taken by the pair in 2002 that sought to capture the spirit of women in Shanghai. The grand opening is from 6pm to 7.30pm at the Shanghai Gallery of Art.

From 10am till early in the AM, YETI OUT join forces with London imprint Disco Deviance and it’s founders Pete Herbert and Dicky Trisco for a musical journey that blurs the lines between house, italo & disco edits dedicated to legends like Larry Levan and Frankie Knuckles. Residents Tom Yeti & Louie Louie join forces with China D.M.C champion DJ Cavia for a heavy dose of ratchet rap, jersey club to UK frequencies of grime and garage. It’s ¥100 a pop for entrance.

Tempalay @ Yuyintang
Psychedelic indie-pop band Tempalay from Japan lands in Shanghai at Yuyintang. Pre-sale tickets are ¥120 and ¥150 at the door and the performance starts at 9.30pm.

Fantastic Man @ Elevator
House producer Fantastic Man spins at Elevator from 10pm. Made in Melbourne and currently based in Berlin, his music all has a psychedelic acidy tribal nature to it with past sets at Shelter and Lola. Entry is ¥70 and the show starts at 10pm.

Learn about TCM @ Community Center Shanghai (Minhang)
Learn about the basics of traditional Chinese medicine, about what foods helps to have a healthy kidney, the causes and treatment of cold for a TCM perspective and end with a cooking demo. The class starts at 9.30am to 12pm and it’s ¥150 per person.
