Panda Express continues to push the boundaries of what can reasonably be considered Chinese food, rolling out the “Orange Chicken Burrito” at select locations recently.
The new dish combines the sweet, heavenly crispiness of orange chicken with the ease and comfort of a burrito. Instead of a traditional tortilla, you can fill a thin scallion pancake with a base (chow mein noodles, fried rice, white rice, brown rice), sauces and veggies like pickled cucumbers or crispy shallots. If for some reason, you’re not an orange chicken fan, you can also choose honey walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken or Beijing beef.
Unfortunately, this latest culinary concoction is currently only available at a few select locations around Los Angeles after originally being introduced last year at the company’s “Innovation Kitchen” in Pasadena.

Last year, Panda Express also made history by introducing the “chork” for people who suck at using chopsticks, causing 18 generations of Chinese ancestors to roll over in their graves.
