Over the past week or so, Beijing has been hosting China’s annual legislative meetings where some very important things are being discussed and rubber stamped.
China Matters recently took to the streets of Beijing to learn what foreigners living in China know about the country’s government and its top political event. Turns out, not so much. Some have apparently even avoided looking at a Chinese flag during their time here.
On Facebook, one commenter hoped that the producers had deceitfully edited the piece by choosing the “silliest/funniest” answers; however, it turns out that most foreigners in China may just be that dumb.
“Actually, most of the people we talked to had little or no knowledge about the government or China in general. We were hoping for more in-depth answers,” China Matters responded.
Obviously, China needs to step up its rap propaganda efforts in the future.
