While technology these days can do incredible things, there are sometimes when its better to trust your own common sense.
On April 1st, a police station in Anhui received a call about a driver that had become stuck in the middle of a river. They arrived at the scene to find precisely that.
Police then mobilized rescue vehicles to help drag the vehicle out of the water. In total, the rescue operation took half the day to complete.
The driver confessed to police that he wasn’t familiar with the local roads, and had been blindly following his car’s navigation system… which led him straight into a river.
“This wasn’t caused by GPS, it was caused by IQ,” writes one web user.
