With the weather getting warmer, it’s the perfect time to treat yourself and your loved ones to a day out and enjoy an elegant brunch in the heart of Shanghai. Xuan Bar at Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai just launched their new weekend brunch “Brunch and Bubbles” and their new weekend market at Andaz Plaza with beautiful accessories and tasty delicacies.
For appetizers, they offer a wide variety from the classic Caesar salads, to creamy sweet corn soup and fresh ricotta cheese, tickling your appetite with all of their five delicious appetizers.
Eggs at Xuan Bar are used in a variety of different ways. All eggs are organic and are crafted to make 5 different dishes including the favorites such as Eggs Benedict with ham on an English muffin and the classic fried eggs with spiced potatoes and pancetta.
The real highlight comes from their six mains – veal saltimbocca with linguini in tomato basil cream sauce that is both sweet and sour, the soft and doughy ham and cheese croissant with honey mustard glaze, and the hearty Xuan Bar beef burger with tomato, pickles, onion, bacon, mushroom and cheddar cheese. There are also other mouthwatering dishes such as roasted salmon with spring pea and asparagus risotto, tuna melt toasties, and sun-dried tomato with thyme and feta cheese flat bread.
Brunch options starts from ¥198, you can add on an extra ¥80 to enjoy the grilled sirloin steak with salad and French fries, or the lobster avocado roll. To enjoy free flow Perrier-Jouët Grand Brut Champagne, just add on at additional ¥200 (prices subjected to 15% charge).
Feel free to take a stroll after brunch at Andaz Plaza, right outside Xuan Bar to enjoy their weekend market held every Saturday and Sunday between 11.30am – 7pm. There will be vendors with stylish accessories, unique handmade art crafts and crystal ball performances. Food and drinks are also available with BBQ, ice-creams, lollipops, biscuits, Bloody Mary, Pimm’s No.1 and Hoegaarden draft prepared by Xuan Bar.
