A fake Victoria’s Secret show drew quite the crowd at a public square in Binzhou, Shandong province recently, helped by the fact that the foreign models changed their outfits in public.
While a makeshift tent was set up on the sidelines of the event, it appears to have been too small to accommodate the models who instead decided to just strip down to their undies outside.
As you might expect, this happened to attract the interest of more than a few locals, mostly elderly men, who stood around snapping photos of the undressing models.
However, much to the surprise of the assembled voyeurs, one of the foreign models eventually turned to them and said in fluent Chinese: “Please do not take pictures, we are changing clothes.” After the men lowered their smartphones, she politely thanked them with a “xièxie.”
Though it’s not clear exactly how long the woman’s courteous request managed to keep the amateur photographers at bay.
