Police in Canada are now searching for one incredibly racist white man who was caught on camera bullying a helpless, elderly Chinese man for no apparent reason.
The incident occurred after 10 a.m. in a quiet neighborhood in Markham, Ontario. Dashcam video footage that was uploaded to YouTube by driver Tony Cao shows a hunched-over Chinese senior slowly making his way across the road with a heavy limp. A young man with a backpack appears walking quickly behind him on the sidewalk. After passing the old man, he turns back and without any provocation launches into a racist rant.
“Hey monkey. How you doing monkey? Are you a little monkey for white people? Aren’t you tired of walking around?” the man taunts.
When Cao tries to intervene, the man angrily approaches his car and tells him to “mind your own fucking business.”
“You got a problem,” he continues. “That’s right. Drive the fuck out of here. Get your dirty fucking rice-eating ass out of here. Go eat some rice, you fucking monkey. You’re being nosy today.”
Cao then drives away, shouting: “Fuck you, bitch!”
Afterward, Cao showed the video to police who have launched an investigation into the incident and are searching for the racist man in black.
“This video is disturbing,” police told YorkRegion.com. “What is said is disturbing. There’s no place for this language. People need to be able to feel safe and this man was minding his own business and doesn’t deserve this.”
Cao told the Global News that at first he thought the young pedestrian was going to help the Chinese senior, and then couldn’t believe it when he instead began berating the old man with vile language.
“I’m truly shocked, I’m just sad to see this sort of thing in society in this beautiful, peaceful country.” said Cao, who has been living in Canada for a decade. “I only thought this type of thing would happen in America.”
“I think he saw this man as weak and poor and easy to defeat, that’s why he picked on him,” Cao added, emphasizing that he didn’t think the man was suffering from any mental health problems. “He didn’t know I was even there. I am totally fine, I am strong, but I am sad for Canadian society.”

This comes less than a month after a Canadian woman was caught on camera going on a racist rant at a specialty grocery store in the suburbs of Toronto, telling the Chinese workers there to “Go back to China!” furious at their lack of English-language skills.
