Run Without Boundaries: 5K charity race @ Century Park
Run Without Boundaries is partnering with the WILL foundation, a Shanghai-based learning centre for underprivileged children, to host a 5k charity race. This inaugural exhibition is presenting works of 22 Asian artists of different ages, nationalities, experiences, aesthetics, and culture. Attempting to create opportunities for dialogue and stimulate discussion about the direction of Asian contemporary art, this installation focuses on re-contemplating Asian’s cultural identity with an open-mind, rather than trying to declare the identity of Asia and who Asians are.

WU Xinmo: “Stowaways” @ A-PIECE
Curated by Yuan Fuca, Stowaways is WU Xinmo’s first personal project in Shanghai. It is the summary of artist’s past several years of plankton observation and it features her photographic series, latest paintings, and installations. Most of her work are influenced by contemporary Japanese photography and installation art. They utilize the tension between the media and real life, and simultaneously present the “sexual” body to the audience sensitively.
