Movie Night: Independence Day @ The Pearl
This American sci-fi action flick is the next installation in The Pearl’s movie night series. Directed by Roland Emmerich, and starring personalities like Will Smith, Bill Pullman, and Jeff Goldblum, the film depicts a group of intrepid humans attempting to save the Earth from vicious extraterrestrials. NBA Playzone @ Xintiandi

Seeds of Time Shanghai @ Shanghai Himalayas Museum
As part of the exploratory Shanghai Project curated by ongwoo Lee and Hans Ulrich Obrist, Chapter Two takes on the pressing global climate issues.
