Recently a pregnant woman was caught on camera running over a toddler on the road and immediately racing away from the scene.
Surveillance camera footage from July 23rd shows the 3-year-old boy dashing out in front of the woman’s motorcycle as she’s riding down a narrow alley in Jieyang, Guangdong Province. The woman unfortunately only notices the boy when his body is already underneath her wheels.
The child’s mother immediately rushes out to pick the child up. Meanwhile, the motorcyclist, draped in a raincoat, leaves them in the dust without even a backward glance.
The woman had been riding a motorcycle without a license plate, but, fortunately for police, she turned herself in at the station the next day. And, fortunately for the everyone, the toddler suffered only minor injuries in the accident.
At least the woman in this video acted more honorably than did a man in Chengdu earlier this month who ran over a 5-year-old boy and promised to take him to the hospital, but instead ditched him in a pile of trash.
