Here’s where to go for three days of parties and physical activities in Xiuning County.
Qiyun Mountain: a place known for clouds, poems and Taoism. Peaceful, until three days in August, when the Ziyoujia Summer Party rolls into town, bringing extreme sports, electronic music and pyrotechnics.
Happening on August 18 to 20, Ziyoujia Summer Party is an adventure camp and music festival rolled into one. It takes place at Ziyoujia Campsite in Xiuning County of Anhui province, and attendees can indulge in activities like rock climbing, zip lining, and navigating an obstacle course during the day, before stomping around the dancefloor to DJs and live acts at night.
Additionally, there will be opportunities to explore an ancient street, hike up hills, and learn about Taoism and the local culture, all amid the verdant hills of Qiyun Mountain.
Tickets are ¥1080 per person, and the price includes luxury accommodation for two nights, an English-speaking guide for entire trip, and a private coach that would take you to and from Shanghai. Participants can also choose between three set menus, with dishes like stewed duck in red wine, macaroni and cheese, and kimchi pork, on top of a lunch of local food that will be served on Sunday.
