After an angry woman left her car blocking the entrance of a residential community in Benxi city, Liaoning province on Tuesday, the owners of the estate decided to move her vehicle somewhere a bit more convenient.
According to locals who watched the dispute play out, the woman was stopped at the community’s security gate that morning and asked to pay a fee for parking. However, she refused.
Things appear to have escalated from there with the woman simply ditching her vehicle outside the gate, preventing other cars from entering the neighborhood. According to the estate’s owners, the car was there for some hours before they finally decided to call a crane to get removed.
But, at some point during this process, someone appears to have come up with the bright idea of instead relocating the vehicle to the gate house’s roof, apparently confident in the building’s structural integrity.
Unfortunately, it’s not clear what the woman said when she returned to find her car up on the roof. Reportedly, she and a representative of the residential community were both asked to come to a local police station to settle the dispute, which ended with the crane being called back and the vehicle being returned to solid ground.
The incident has since gone viral on Chinese social media with netizens applauding the actions of the community’s ownership — not to mention those of the laid back crane operator.
It might not come as much of a surprise that we’ve actually seen this kind of thing before in China — last year in Qingdao when a righteous garage owner took out his vengeance on a pair of illegally parked vehicles.
Once again, justice has been served with the help of some heavy equipment.
