In a remarkable display of multitasking — or a particularly reckless disregard for the hazards of texting and driving — a delivery man was filmed in Nanjing over the weekend balancing seven gas tanks on his scooter while glued to his phone.
Video shows the man, perhaps catching up on his soaps or in the throes of an “Honor of Kings” addiction, so immersed in his device that he is unresponsive to a pedestrian calling for his attention.
The cameraman appears to tail him to the delivery destination and then proceeds to ask, “Have you ever considered your safety?” Indignant, the man replies that the thought has indeed crossed his mind, as has the idea of driving a BMW, and he does what he has to for his livelihood.
Multitasking prodigy, reckless daredevil or just another day on the street in China?
