74 years old, but still young at heart, one grandpa in Harbin can often be found down at the children’s amusement park, cruising around in a bumper car with a big smile on his face.
According to one worker, the grandfather has been coming to the park for the last seven or eight years, bringing with him his granddaughter. He comes on most weekends and holidays, staying for three or four hours each time.
Over time, the old man has developed considerable skills behind the wheel, but the worker said that he is an extremely careful driver, taking special care not to prey on the all the novices, content to just practice his drifting with childlike enthusiasm.
After years of driving bumper cars, it appears that the grandpa has done away with the pretense that he visits the amusement park for his granddaughter, who is now 20 years old.
“It used to be that I would take her for fun. Now she takes me,” he says.
