The greasy fast food gods are smiling upon our fair city once again as Shanghai is set to soon receive its SECOND Taco Bell, this one more conveniently located in Puxi.
Today, residents were presumably overjoyed to spot banners on one Maoming Bei Lu establishment presaging the arrival of another Taco Bell, right down the road from Shanghai’s first White Castle. Truly, a match made in heaven.
Shanghai’s first Taco Bell opened up in Lujiazui late last year to much fanfare and appears to be doing brisk business with better-than-you’d-actually think Tex Mex fare, which appears to be less diarrhea-inducing than your typical American Taco Bell. Plus, you can order margaritas.
A Taco Bell; a White Castle; another Taco Bell. Really what’s this city gotta do to move up those liveability rankings?
