Earlier this year, one tech geek was able to build his own iPhone 6s using spare parts from the famous electronics markets of Shenzhen, but now he’s done the truly impossible, successfully adding a headphone jack to his iPhone 7.
In a 33-minute-long video posted to YouTube, Scotty Allen, the creator of the channel Strange Parts, returns to the sprawling Huaqiangbei electronics markets to try his hand at a mission that many believed was not possible.
Though you might think that adding a headphone jack to an iPhone would be a fairly straightforward process, it actually turned out to be incredibly complex, arduous task that took Allen four months to complete and cost him thousands of dollars in parts.
But hey, still a better option than being forced to use a pair of Bluetooth headphones, right?
