How much do you love your homeland? So much that you want its national flag forever emblazoned upon your face?
Well, that was apparently the case for one patriotic tattoo enthusiast in Shenyang who recently had China’s five-starred red and yellow flag tattooed on his cheek, accompanied by a dragon, driven by his love for China and colored ink.

The man’s passions are also shared by his wife who has the characters for China tattooed on her forehead, separated by a heart.
They reportedly have grand aspirations of leaving their mark on the world by covering their bodies with tattoos and getting into the Guinness Book of Records. Within the next two years, they hope to catch up to an American couple who currently hold the world records — the wife has 91.5% of her body covered in tats, while the husband is at 93.75%.
