Dreamshade is a melodic death metal band from Switzerland. The band was founded in 2006 and have three LPs under their belt, with “Vibrant” being the most recent, and they have played at festivals such as the Finnish Metal Expo, Germany’s Rock Hard Festival, and Bulgaria’s Kavarna Rock Fest. Catch them as they perform in town for the first time.

The Nutcracker Ballet @ Shanghai Culture Square
The Russian National Ballet Theatre puts on the famous Nutcracker ballet. Adapted from E.T.A. Hoffmann’s story The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, it premiered at the Mariinsky Theatre in St Petersburg in 1892, and has remained one of the most well-known ballet performances ever since.
