Over the Golden Week break, a pair of Chinese tourists were mocked in Thailand after being spotted posing for pictures outside of a crematorium, presumably mistaking it for a Buddhist temple.
To be honest, this seems like an understandable mistake to make, as, in other places around the globe, crematoriums are not typically so scenic. So, before you head to Thailand, make sure you know the difference between a temple and crematorium, by checking for smokestacks:
