t a Jay Chou concert in Changsha earlier this week, as thousands of the singer’s fans watched and hung on every note, one man was spotted sitting in the stands watching a TV drama.
A fellow concert-goer uploaded footage of the man, who was apparently dragged to the event by his girlfriend, staring—single-mindedly—at his smart phone’s screen as the Taiwanese pop star did his thing on stage.
Even after the concert drew to a close, the man remained in his seat, likely hoping for an encore so he could finish one more episode.
Perhaps he just wanted to get his money’s worth. The woman seated behind him who posted the video clip online said that she paid 1,400 yuan for her ticket.
Apparently he is not familiar with the incredible healing properties of Chou’s music. Recently, it was reported that a girl in Wuhan woke up from a coma after being made to listen to Jay Chou for three months straight by her attentive nurse.
