On Saturday, motorists on the outskirts of Beijing stopped and watched as a truly mammoth landslide engulfed the road in front of them. It’s estimated that the landslide involved some 30,000 cubic meters of mud and dirt.
Luckily, cars were stopped in time, giving motorists the chance to view the event from what is apparently a safe distance. No casualties have been reported. The road is likely to remain closed for at least this month.
