In China, Spring Festival is a time for returning home to be with loved ones and for foreign brands to try to endear themselves with Chinese customers by capturing the spirit of the holiday.
The latest effort comes from Apple who got renowned Chinese director Jia Zhangke to shoot a sweet little film on an iPhone XS about Chinese parents’ tendency to load their visiting children down with gifts from home to take back to the big city.
