In some good news for all you evening strollers out there, opening hours have now been extended at most Shanghai parks.
Following the coronavirus outbreak, parks in Shanghai were shut down before moving to reduced hours as the epidemic abated.
On Wednesday, Shanghai’s greenery decided to extend opening hours into the late evening at 312 different parks across the city which will now close at either 9 pm (Luxun, Fuxing, Caoxi parks, etc) or 10 pm (Jing’an, Zhabei, Daning parks, etc).
Epidemic prevention measures like temperature checks will remain in effect while some parks will still impose restrictions on the number of visitors allowed in at one time.
