Those looking for a serious thrill can now head on over to the outskirts of Chongqing where the “world’s tallest swing” is finally open for business.
Built up in the mountains of the Yunyang Longgang National Geopark, the 108-meter-high swing sends riders flying out over a 700-meter-high cliff overlooking the Shisun river valley at a maximum speed of 130 kilometers per hour.
After some testing earlier this year, the attraction opened to visitors this week.
Up to three people at the same time can ride on the swing. They are strapped horizontally to a platform, allowing them to go face-first out into the wild blue yonder.
We just hope that the operators are up to it.
