Ah, the glut of netizens and their endless repostings and comments. With nearly as many Weibo users as there are Americans, the social media platform is receiving more attention than ever before.
A group of 20 girls (and one guy who tagged along) took to the Bannan line of Taipei's MRT subway last week to participate in a cheap ploy for attention their own No Pants Subway Ride. The annual flashmob event generally takes place every January in various cities around the world, though we don't really think anyone will complain about the girls in Taipei being a month late to the no-pants party.

Seen on the streets of Wuhan: A girl puts three guys on a leash and takes them out for a walk on a busy street. Performance artist Kang Yi, the man behind the act, said he hoped to provoke a discussion about gender equality. He's also hoping to bring his little act to a city near you. Next stops for the performance: Chengdu, Nanjing, Hangzhou and Shanghai.

Are public mass makeout sessions here to stay? Approximately 50 couples who didn't get the memo about Valentine's Day being over participated in a marathon makeout competition on Saturday the 18th, in the Anhui capital of Hefei. Some ladies even fainted due to the stress of extended lip-locking and having to hold acrobatic kissing positions.

21-year-old Dai Guohong was a high school senior in Beichuan High School when he lost his legs during the Sichuan earthquake of 2008. Trapped underneath rubble for over 40 hours, Dai received medical and psychiatric help from the Sichuan People's Hospital, and eventually worked himself out a depression and regained his confidence through the help of his swimming coach, training 5 to 6 hours on a daily basis.

The Jigokudani Monkey Park in Nagano, Japan is the only place in the world where you can watch Japanese macaques, or snow monkeys, soak in natural hot springs.
Two awards and one honorable mention were given to Chinese photographers at this year's World Press Photo competition, a contest designed to highlight the achievements of photojournalism around the world. Considering all the news that happened in 2011, there was certainly some stiff competition.

The Embraer Legacy 650 executive jet belonging to superstar Jackie Chan touched down in Singapore on Sunday 12th February, ahead of the Singapore Airshow where it makes its first public appearance since being delivered to Jackie on 3rd February. The Legacy 650 jet is liveried with Jackie Chan's iconic dragon logo, and will be on static display at the 2012 Singapore Airshow until 19th February. [TODAY / Singapore]

The first dates for the Gagster's Born This Way Ball Tour have been announced, with the first stop on the 110-date tour to kick off in Seoul on April 27th. As it stands, Ms. Gaggle's only brush with the Chinese market will take place in at Asia World Arena in Hong Kong on May 2nd, the second stop on her world-eating extravaganza.

Jeremy Lin gets the NMA treatment after the Knicks' guard became an overnight sensation over the past week. Lin scored 23 points (including a dunk) while notching another career-high ten assists in a 107-93 Knicks' win against the Wizards in Washington D.C. The only thing that could make this story better is if Whoopi Goldberg took over as coach.

On Saturday night at Madison Square Garden, the New York Knicks' Jeremy Lin (林書豪) officially went and got himself a hefty piece in a 99-92 win against the New Jersey Nets. Having been firmly planted on the bench all season (and all career, for that matter), Lin stepped up and gave an electric performance in front of the Knicks faithful at the Mecca of Basketball, scoring a career-high 25 points (with 12 coming in the 4th quarter) while dishing 7 assists and nabbing 5 rebounds.
