Persio and Candido were rescued on May 12, 2011 from Suzhou Lu, with no food, shelter, or protection, and Persio was already sick. They were abandoned to fend for themselves in a small patch of garden, and were neglected by the people that owned the garden where they were trying to survive. The pair were rescued and received very good medical attention at Petshome Veterinary Hospital, and are growing into two healthy, fluffy and happy cats!

In the first week after they were abandoned, Bobo and Momo were very sad and they looked sickly, as they knew they lost their home. Now, Bobo & Momo have been rejuvenated. They are eager to have a permanent home.

Ask Shanghaiist: Should I be a pet foster parent/adopter?
Last month, we asked the folks at Jaiya's Animal Rescue to help us write up a guide for what you should do if you find a stray animal and your heart won't let you let it be. Now we're tackling the question of whether or not you should consider offering your home to one of these animals, from either just a couple of weeks to permanently. Save allergy issues and time constraints, we think you should! And here's why:
