Around July of last year, we made an amazing (to me, at least) discovery: Shanghai has a thriving competitive bike scene, and not just during the X Games. BMX bikers from all over - Dongbei, Nanjing, Shenzhen took the train/bus/whatever to meet at the Source for a night of watching bike vids, drinking free beer and doing sick tricks (that's the slang, right?). Remember that fun little bike race we told you about a couple weeks ago? The Shanghai Alleycat? It happened this weekend and, happily, seemed to be a great success!
