His words paint manga panoramas for your ears, rhymes that spin like the 2D martial arts characters that have endlessly inspired him. Although Shing02's lyrics lace the Japanese cartoon classic Samurai Champloo's soundtrack, his mind draws on far more animated real life experiences.
Event preview: Design Art & Fashion Fair
After a successful inaugural event last fall, the Design Art Fashion Fair (DAFF) returns to Shanghai for a second showing. Fair organizer The Ice Cream Truck(TICT) plans for nearly double the amount of vendors and participants this time around, in an event that aims to let China's creative leaders interact, share ideas and inspire the public. We spoke with TICT organizers to get more background on the biannual fair, which is scheduled to take place this weekend.
Event preview: Pic Nic Music Festival
It's music festival season in Shanghai, with two big-name events (Midi and Strawberry) coming up this month. Also on the horizon is the second annual Pic Nic festival, taking place this weekend at Yuyintang Park. A variety of acts will be there, including Nao Hao, Friend or Foe, Ben Huang, Siesta, and Acid Pony Club. Picnic baskets are highly encouraged.

The first dates for the Gagster's Born This Way Ball Tour have been announced, with the first stop on the 110-date tour to kick off in Seoul on April 27th.
