The weather couldn't have been better today for the first farmer's market at the Jiashan courtyard. The day was beautiful, sunny, and warm, which gave people every reason to come out and shop all the goods up for sale at the market. Fresh fruits, veggies, cheese, homemade jams, hummus, cookies, crepes, wine, cold cuts of meat, it was all there. We're already looking forward to next month's one. more ›

Nothing says spring quite like a farmer's market and as warmer weather finally arrives, the first ever Jiashan Farmer's Market with it too. To be held on April 9th, from 9:30am-1pm, the market's going to be a bazaar of "vendors of fruits, vegetables, dairy products (mostly organics), meat, cookies, cupcakes, jam, bread...well, a real market with high quality products." Located in Jiashan Market's hideaway courtyard, market-goers will also have plenty of options for lunch later--sounds like a winner. They're planning on making this a regular event too.
