Ah Jinjiang Amusement Park, how we love thee. When you aren't amusing us with your silly Chinglish signs, you're wowing us with moments of genuine beauty. Case in point, check out these two short but awesome timelapse videos that we discovered in our flickr pool.

JinJiang Park, that wonderful wonderland that we saw a few days ago, is, as Swiss James of ISpyShanghai.com discovers, a "rich vein of badly translated English". Reading through this sign just made us go "OMFGOMFGOMFGOMFGOMFG..." The 3,541 members of the Facebook group Save Chinglish - China's disappearing culture (by the way, don't forget to join our group!) will be disappointed that Chinglish is not only not disappearing, it is alive and well! We swear we heard the PA system announce yesterday that we were at Jinjiang Park metro stop, when we knew we were at Huangpi Nan Lu (and so did everyone else — lots of confused faces). We assumed the metro just got its sound files mixed up ... but could it have been someone's mobile phone ringtone?

First, due to construction work on the Hongmei Road elevated highway, pedestrian crossings have been covered over and the only way for residents of the Gumei area to reach their home is to brave their way across several lanes of near-highway speed Humin Road traffic.
