Welcome Shanghaiist's new Junior Editor: Tiffany Ap
You've probably noticed her writing on here for quite a while now - she's done posts with topics ranging from Golden Week at the USA Pavilion to Shanghai Fashion Week to all the Ladies' Nights in town, and a couple more besides! Last week, she was responsible for coordinating the excellent coverage of the devastating Shanghai fire. So it's about time we officially introduced her.

With Cary Hooper gone, we are now in the market for a new Junior Editor... and it could be YOU. Sure, the pay's not the greatest, but it's fun work and a nice way to explore the city perhaps a little more than you normally would.
Some changes for Shanghaiist
Hope everybody in Shanghai had a Happy Chinese New Year! For some of you, the holidays already ended on Saturday and you got to witness the city's return to Spring-like temperatures from the comfort of your offices. We're sorry, that sounds like it sucks. Anyway, we have just a few little announcements to make and we figured now - the first day of real work for us this Year of the Tiger - was the best time.
Welcome Shanghaiist's new junior editor: Cary Hooper
To be fair, it's been about a month since Cary joined us, but now that we know he's going to stick around, we figured it's time to introduce everyone to the newest member of our editor team. We are happy to announce that Cary Hooper is Shanghaiist's junior editor.

With September careening ever closer, the current editor has realized she probably needs a little help come this fall. And so, if you know of any great writers or editors looking for something to do, maybe they ought to look here. Best of all: this gig is actually paid! (Not much, but it is paid).
