Dashan (大山), everyone's favourite Canadian and a "bona-fide domestic celebrity" in China (at least according to Wikipedia), is getting some long-deserved recognition back home. Mark Henry Rowswell received the Order of Canada last Saturday, an award that recognizes "a lifetime of outstanding achievement". Rowswell's appointment to the Order of Canada was originally announced in 2007, but the formal award ceremony did not take place until this past weekend. more ›
