Meteor shower raining down in Shanghai

Lovers of star sightings: Tonight is supposed to be the best night to view the annual Orionid meteor shower in Shanghai. The Orionids are named after their radiant, located near the constellation Orion, and are produced by the Earth passing through the dust of Halley's Comet. According to Shanghai Daily, the best time to view it will be at 11pm, when the city is dim enough to see the stars. We'll see about 20 meteors each hour at the most. more ›
