The Zhengzhou Auto Show drew a crowd this year, but not entirely for the cars. Scantily clad model girls have and will probably always be an inevitable part of an auto show, sure. But these shows are reaching an entirely new level of attention-grabbing desperation it seems, now stripping the girls half naked and painting their chest with flowers and dragons live to draw publicity. At this particular auto show, five body painting shows have taken place in the last week.

Photos: Three hour Artists Brawl = canvas chaos
A big shout out to the folks at Dyce Productions who, for roughly three glorious hours last Saturday night, withstood the rain and converted an unfinished warehouse space at 800Show into Shanghai’s first Artist Battle. Monika Lin's Child Palace at Art Labor
We checked out the solo exhibition opening of Child Palace by Monika Lin last weekend at Art Labor. The venue was crowded with Shanghai's art folk for the opening on February 28th with such high profile-ers as Lily Sui-Fang Sun Wong, granddaughter of the late Dr. Sun Yat-sen.
Shanghaiist supports bestiality!

According to an informal survey of twenty exhibition participants, there were those that a) supported showing such pictures b) did not support such pictures and c) those that were just "observing" and didn't really hold any opinion. Most of those that supported...
