The problem of people pretending to be disabled and abusing the faster queues has gotten so bad that some pavilions have shut down their "green lines" altogether. The Saudi Arabian, Swiss and Thailand Pavilions have all done away with the lines indefinitely thanks to not just fake handicapped, but the crowds of people who try to muscle their ways in with the fake handicapped. more ›

If there's anything we've learned from Expo so far, it's that crowd control is clearly a necessity. Expo officials have heard complaints loud and clear, and are now in the process of changing up set ups of some pavilions to better manage crowds and long lines. more ›

Embarrassingly, that seems to be what a bunch of people are doing. According to an Oriental Daily newspaper article, couples entering with grandparents will often request a wheelchair, which automatically gives them VIP line access for all the pavilions. With the expo drawing closer and closer, we were excited to hear that the Hong Kong Pavilion was officially completed on Monday. Adopting the theme of "The Infinite City," the pavilion has three exhibition levels, each "highlighting a different aspect of Hong Kong's connectivity and creativity," says China View. The top level will "showcase Hong Kong's natural heritage and the way in which the compact urban cityscape co-exists sustainably with extensive swathes of greenbelt, wetland and woodland areas," and therefore the entirety of the third floor has been plowed into an indoor wetland park.
