7-Eleven is now officially open in Shanghai! The first of the convenience store's locations opened today in Xujiahui, and will be followed by about 165 sister stores in the next three years, according to Jason C.S. Lin, the CEO responsible for bringing this fine institution. To differentiate itself from Family Mart, Alldays and the like, 7-Eleven will "highlight the food store concept to focus on dining-out habits of white-collar workers while providing services like photocopying and fax machines." So... it'll be like a Kedi Kinkos hybrid. Sounds awesome? Source: Shanghai Daily
