Yes, this is what we discussed around the table at Thanksgiving. Here is why: The woman in her 20s was diagnosed with a broken ear drum at a hospital in Zhuhai City, Guangzhou Daily reported today. Her boyfriend told a doctor that her left ear cracked while they were kissing. The woman later found she couldn't hear anything with that ear. The doctor, who was identified as Li, told the couple that the inner ear......

Chilling news from AFP:MORE than half of Beijing's prostitutes do not use condoms despite sexual transmission having replaced drug use as the most common infection route for HIV, state media said on Tuesday. Just 47 per cent of the 90,000 sex workers in China's capital used condoms, the official Xinhua news agency quoted Fang Laiying, director of the municipal public health bureau, as saying. Sexual transmission has also replaced intravenous drug use as the most......

digg_url = 'http://digg.com/people/Kappa_Girl_sex_scandal_in_Shanghai_China'; A 12 minute long sex video of a female employee working at the Kappa store in the east building of the Shanghai No.1 Department Store on Nanjing Lu has recently been spreading like wildfire on the Chinese internet via Bittorrent and the Chinese peer-to-peer application Xunlei, catapulting the search term 'Kappa女' (or "Kappa Girl") into one of the top ten search terms on Google China and unleashing a 'human flesh search......

By Jellymon We think we may have just discovered our new career. Healthy men in Shanghai can get paid for sperm donation between 200rmb to 3500rmb a pop (depending on whether anyone picks your product). Along with the cash you are given a helping hand by one of the amiable nurses (and that really is just our wishful thinking). First donors need to go for health check and semen analysis, and then 4-7 days prior......

Big week in food safety and health-related news. First the melamine eggs and the tainted soy sauce and wasabi, then the cholera outbreak in Hainan, and now this — 10 men have died in Singapore from complications resulting from the consumption of illegal China-made sex enhancement pills. The Straits Times reports:ILLEGAL sex enhancement pills have killed six more men here in the past five months, bringing the drug's death toll to 10 this year. The......

Danwei points us to the funniest thing we've seen in a long while. We're not sure if this was actually produced for television or just the internet, but this infomercial for a Chinese magic pill which claims to help cure 快男 or "fast men" (a play on Hunan TV's "Super Boys" talent show) of male erectile dysfunction sho' cracked us up!......

Take note, all you kinky bastards out there. Novelty chocolate body spreads manufactured in Zhongshan, Guangdong and sold in sex shops across Britain have been found to contain melamine. In New Zealand, chocolate body pens and spreads have also been taken off the shelves. Edible toys from your local sex store are not a good idea. Make a trip to the organic food store instead. In Korea, melamine has been found in processed egg products from......

Chinese kids are starting early these days. Someone over at the PCPop.com forum with a nephew attending first grade looked through his textbooks one day and was shocked at what sex education for first graders looks like in China these days — funny cartoons, witty dialogues, testicles that talk to one another, and cool-looking Mr Condoms wearing shades. We wish sex education was this fun for us when we were growing up. No, wait a......

Most might assume that a week without a weekend might make for a dull time, void of events worthy of checking out. Well, this week they would be wrong. In the lead up to the October holiday there are 4 solid nights of gigs to choose from. Tonight in order to promote the inclusion of a few Shanghai bands in the Modern Sky Festival, those bands will be performing at Yuyintang. It should be a......

Watch out ladies, Chinese men are on the prowl. According to this article in Mop, one Chinese man set out to settle a score against Western men, by staking out Western women visiting Beijing during the Olympics. The man in question is from a small town in the middle of nowhere, the kind of place where "in 20 years only one student made it into Tsinghua or Peking University." He managed to test into a......

Taking a page from the lessons learned in the Olympic village about condom distribution, more free condoms will be available in Jing'an office buildings reports dfdaily.eastday.com (h/t Shanghai Daily). It appears that over 50 buildings in the district already distribute free condoms and last year over 100,000 rubbers were taken from these venues. The record number of condoms taken in a day was apparently 4,000 from Plaza 66. We are not sure what this says......

During the Sydney Olympics, 70,000 condoms were distributed to athletes for their use but they ran out so fast that another 20,000 had to be brought in. Learning their lesson, officials for the Athens games provided 130,000 condoms free of charge to athletes. At the meticulously manicured 66 hectare Olympic village, BOCOG officials have done such a wonderful job preparing everything from Peking Duck to Chinese massage, calligraphy lessons, live Chinese folk music and armies......

Nationalistic optimism hits its worldwide high in China, a new survey by PEW Global Attitudes Project has found. Eighty-six percent reported being happy with their county’s direction, with 82 percent positive about the national economy. These numbers have risen startlingly in the past six years, growing 38 and 30 percentage points respectively during an era when many nations, including the United States, have seen severe declines. Chinese national pride may be up, but personal satisfaction......

The ground has been broken for the new Hongqiao Transport Hub which will cover an area of 240,000 square meters and contain facilities for both high-speed and normal trains. In service before the 2010 World Expo, the hub is expected to reach an annual turnover of 52.72 million people by 2020. "The man, a manager surnamed Liu, invited one of his new female staff into his office in southwestern China's Sichuan province to ‘discuss work matters’, but then told her he wanted to be her boyfriend, the Beijing News said, citing a local newspaper. Last week we reported that those sexed-up Olympians could continue taking Viagra despite evidence of performance-boosting qualities on the field as well as in the sack. But the situation may be different if animal genitalia is involved: turns out the traditional Chinese injury remedy of deer's penis (usually taken soaked in alcohol) may contain banned substances. There's a lesson in there somewhere, we're sure of it.......

Unrequited love has led a young Chinese woman to create a website, and publish all the photos of her ex-boyfriend Li Pengfei (李鹏飞) in the most compromising positions (wanking in bed, performing cunnilingus on her, etc.) in a last ditch attempt to get back at him. The sexy pictures were published along with all the sordid details of how the little casanova was supposed to have tricked her out of her money and love......

The Shanghai Fag Hag is back! After an extended and highly enjoyable break from China, we have returned, just in time for the release of Li Yinhe's (our personal, sexologist hero!) Homosexuality Survey. Peijin Chen, has done an awesome translation of the survey on his blog, but we'll give you a few highlights. Snooker is often billed as a gentleman's sport and, as we all know, two crucial characteristics for being a gentleman include being gracious in defeat and showing impeccable manners. Or so we thought. Apparently Shanghaiist's interpretation of gentlemanly behaviour differs somewhat from that of China's Today Morning Express, after they reported that Ronnie O'Sullivan "kept his gentlemanly manners" during a post-match press conference at Beijing's China Open snooker tournament this week. Having watched the video......

Few animals get tabloid coverage of their sex lives splashed across international media like our furry friends the pandas. Their being few is what the fuss is about. And now their enclosures have become Big-Brother-animal-sex episodes where their lack of procreativity is monitored as scientists continue to ply panda eyes and orifices with strategic tactics. Chuang Chuang watches the filth-movie from metro.co.uk Panda sex labs are coming up with yet more odd behavior—not on the......
