The 8th annual Shanghai Sexpo, or 'Shanghai Reproductive and Adult Health Expo' as it's called in Chinese, was held over a three-day period last weekend and drew crowds of 6,500 people (see our past coverage here.) Most of these were men (about 3% were women) and the average age was around 30. The Adult Care Expo is in town and we, being the naughty naughty children we are, decided to give it a look see earlier this morning. Was it everything we hoped it would be? Unfortunately, no. As one vendor informatively told us, the expos in Hong Kong and Macau are much bigger and rowdier - the Shanghai market for sex-related goodies just hasn't matured yet. more ›
