The That's Shanghai Food & Drink Award winners were released over the weekend, for all you foodies that are curious about what Shanghai likes. And what Shanghai likes, for the most part, is established chains - whether or not they are actually the "best" in their categories. Hey, don't get huffy with us. The guys at That's Shanghai thought the same thing.

• Shanghai Hongqiao and Shanghai Pudong are "destined" to be consolidated - though noone knows when the integration will happen. [Trading Markets]

Whilst fans wait for their ticket refunds, the Oasis/Tibet debacle has at least worked out well for one party: That's Shanghai magazine's publicity team.

So by now, everyone knows the gig is off, presumably because of Oasis' pro-Tibet leanings. But before we learned that the British brothers wouldn't be performing on our shores, the editrixes at managed to get an exclusive interview in with them - separately. If it really was because of the Tibet issue and not just finances, the Chinese government really ought to read the piece and change their minds.

Papa John's thinks bigger: There are about 100 Papa John's locations throughout China, but the restaurant chain wants that number to grow to 500 in the next five years. From Reuters:
