So we won't front - we were perhaps not the biggest fans of the Transformers 2 movie, despite how well it did in China. And while we'd normally use any opportunity to rag on that ridiculous, over-the-top, cliche-slinging, vomit-inducing pile of crap pretending to be a sci-fi action film, this time we're mentioning it to help segue into a Chinese movie that looks like it'd be much more satisfying on the robot front.

Really, Chinese netizens? REALLY? Apparently some Chinese are incredibly upset at the Transformers 2 movie, not because it was a two-and-a-half hour waste of time with an egregiously obscene budget for barely a semblance of a plot, but because the beginning scenes are "an insult to China."
Before Transformers 2 officially came out yesterday, a netizen from Chongqing posted a photo on Dayu of a 2-meter "Transformer" outside of a villager's house in Qianjiang Village. The villager told him that this "Transformer" is for keeping the doors safe.
We're betting it'll be one of the silliest, and thus funnest, dumb action movies since Terminator Salvation, and we look forward to spend hours making jokes at its expense for weeks to come. Before that though, we figure we'd give you a reminder on the details.
The Chinese are going crazy about the Camaro Bumblebee autobot from the movie Transformers. When the Bumblebee-esque 2010 Camaro SS came to town to celebrate the opening of Transformers 2, everyone wreaked havoc.
