As part of China's crusade against pornography, the government has been offering rewards for tips on illegal pornography sites, and It looks like someone's cashed in: though the government won't release a name, they claim a student was paid 10,000 RMB in rewards for submitting tips on 32 porn sites. And what, you ask, would a student do with all that money?

Fake "Disney" english-language school told to pay compensation
A English-language school that used the Disney moniker without permission was forced to pay 60,000 yuan in compensation to eight families. Originally, called Disney Miracle English Garden, it managed to draw a tuition of 100 yuan per hour from unsuspecting parents. As everyone knows, there's only one school here worthy of the big D: Disney English. Rumor is it that their teachers have to teach wearing mouse ears. Source: Shanghai Daily
List: Tuition fees for international schools in Shanghai
Via Micah Sittig on Twitter we learned of this spreadsheet that compares tuition fees for international high schools in Shanghai. Fourteen schools are included on the list and they range in annual cost from US$11,319 (Semiconductor Manufacturing International Corporation Private School), up 30% from last year, to US$30,689 (British International School), up 7% from last year. The only school whose tuition went down this year was the Shanghai American School, down 7% to US$22,092. Time to stock up on the ol' birth control.
