Man climbs to top of Waibaidu Bridge over "family issues"

According to the Huangpu police, the man lives in Changning District's Tianshan Village and climbed to where he was because of "family conflicts." Dong Fang reporters say that he was carrying a sign saying "Please protect me, public security bureau (请公安机关保护我)" and that his beef was with a family property dispute. Police stopped traffic to the bridge and persuaded him down at around 7:20am. A picture of the man here.
