Some junior samaritans Shuangliu in Sichuan carry their paraplegic classmate to class, to the playground, and even to the toilet in his very own sedan chair.
Nine year old Yuanshuai, who also suffers from intermittent epilepsy, has never been able to walk. He has a wheelchair but it is too heavy to carry upstairs to the toilet so his plucky classmates fashioned a sort of sedan chair to carry him around in.
At first two students could carry him but as he has grown up and gotten heavier now four classmates are needed, but they don’t complain, even when their hands get calloused in the cold weather.
“It doesn’t hurt!”
